About the role

• Be a member of the senior leadership team and help set the strategic direction of the company
• Own and manage the product roadmap working closely with engineering and operations to understand needs and constraints across our three products: WorkWhile consumer worker mobile app,  Customer web app, and API for labor that allows customers to request workers programmatically
• Understand the needs of our workers and customers inside and out by constantly talking to them. Be the expert on the market and our competition
• Research and spec out how things should work so engineering can build 
• Partner closely with the team on addressable markets, regulation, and segments
• Work within our values of worker-first, one team, and respect. Establish a product council to build relationships with workers and customers for constant feedback
• Create scalable product management processes and prioritization rubrics, balancing short term needs and bigger strategic projects
• Help scale and grow the team

About you

• 5+ years experience, former founder or early stage employee a plus. Experience building a product from the ground up
• Possess a fundamental understanding of how web and mobile applications and many of the underlying technologies work. While you won’t be coding you’ll need a technical background 
• Data fluency– know how to analyze, track and query data. Obsess over your product metrics. Adept at analysis with SQL, python, or similar
• A passion for impact. Demonstrated success at all stages of the product development process and product lifecycle
• Demonstrated experience attracting, and retaining staff. Ability to lead, influence, and motivate individuals and teams
• Intense scrappiness and willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done, fast
